Beckham confirmed to be a team owner in Miami

The English former player David Beckham has announced that it has become the new owner of Miami football team in Major League Soccer (MLS ) , a franchise that is not yet created and born of the hand that was Manchester United footballer and Real Madrid.

"It's a big moment for me , for my family , relatives and friends and something you really want to build in Miami. I've worked for some of the largest in the world and with some of the best players in the world equipment and this is a dream " Beckham said in an appearance with commissioner Don Garber MLS .

The former captain of the England team is ambitious with his new project . " It's going to be some problems along the way but want to do in Miami not only the best team in America , we want to make a global team " wanted.

For MLS commissioner Beckham 's decision is a " historic day for soccer in America," because the English will be the first former player to own a team 'soccer' American.

Beckham, who also played for Los Angeles Galaxy , kept a clause in his contract with the MLS in which a choice of $ 25 million was set to start a new franchise. Now , English is talking to the Miami -Dade County for a stadium with capacity for 25,000 people.
